When spiritual reality moves our world, the effects show up as miracles in our lives. They appear as wondrous interventions that come from elsewhere, and we are left to wonder in awe of the workings of the spirit world.
Discovering that we are much more than meets the eye is so revealing and empowering. Almost equally wonderful is the discovery that there is an invisible world that stretches far beyond our material reality, and that this world of spirit is so real, more real than our material world. Perhaps the most profound of it all is the realisation that this invisible world, the world of spirit, has the power to move the visible one. When spiritual reality moves our world, the effects show up as miracles in our lives. They appear as wondrous interventions that come from elsewhere, and we are left to wonder in awe of the workings of the spirit world.
I know for myself, and have seen it in the lives of many, that the ‘interventions of the other world’ are more frequent than not. It is just that often we are quick to forget the miraculous solutions that appeared as if from nowhere: the stranger that helped us, or the inspiration and guidance that came to us after we asked for help.
At times after such encounters, we become intrigued by the hints of mysterious other worlds, and we may seek to establish an ongoing connection and relationship beyond our material dimension. Stepping into these other realms can happen instantaneously as if by miracle or we can learn to shift our attention to planes of higher vibration. Either way, in this process, our conscious minds are bypassed for there is nothing logical that can explain the ‘divine intervention’. When the mind catches up, we are left to wonder how everything occurred with such synchronicity.
Take encounters with deceased loved ones, for example. When upon meeting those who have passed to the other side, we realize that indeed they are still ‘alive’ and filled with love, vigour and wisdom which they so lovingly share with us. I have noticed ease and peace always overcomes us as we experience those meetings. A father who lost his son, seated in front of me, sad and in deep pain, brightens up and smiles as the soul of his son approaches him. There is no doubt that he feels the presence of his beloved son. The time they share together, the answers that are easing the pain, and insights that follow are present. The deep peace that remains seems to have a healing effect. And the father is changed; before, a very ‘realistic’, rational and logical heart surgeon who lost his son to a mysterious disease that medicine could not help, now opens his own heart to the world of eternal love and Divine logic which is beyond human ‘understanding’.
‘’After the death of my son, I lost the will to work in medicine ever again”, he tells me. “I thought medicine failed my son, and so I can no longer use medicine to heal others. Today as I walked through the gates of eternity, where my son had gone to, I realized that it is not medicine that failed my son, but his soul who passed to the other side. Now I understand his soul’s reasons, and that gives me peace. I can return to heart surgery and serve humanity again’’.
In the entry to the ‘other world’ we leave behind our current familiar self, recognizing many worlds within the invisible realm of the spirit, and we remember and know ourselves as the multidimensional beings we are. We witness and experience the fluidity of the spiritual quantum field that stretches into infinity.
‘’Knowing that I too am a soul, a being of Divine light and love, gives me a new and renewed sense of will to live this life to the fullest, for I now know that this reality on earth is only a small fragment of the whole. It gives me a sense of excitement and peace at the same time’’, the father concluded with a kind and warm smile on his face. I realised that I had not seen him smile before. Indeed our souls smile when we remember how vast the universe and our multidimensional beings really are. ♥
